FOUNDATIONAL CHARTER OF BLACK GOLD
Preamble
We, the descendants of the African peoples whose labor, knowledge, pirituality, and resistance shaped the gold economies of the Americas, Africa, and the world, hereby establish Black Gold as a permanent, ethical, and sovereign institution.
From the rivers and rainforests of Chocó and Colombia’s Pacific Coast—where African ancestors transformed enslavement into survival, mastery, and community—we affirm that gold is not merely a commodity. It is memory. It is inheritance. It is responsibility.
This Charter is founded to correct centuries of extraction without equity, to formalize community ownership, to protect territory and dignity, and to integrate ancestral wisdom with modern law, finance, and technology.
